On The Go Baby Afghan

This baby afghan is a great gift for a new mom! Its quick and easy on your part but helpful for the mother to be. The size makes it perfect for travel! Large enough to cover baby in carrier or car seat but small and light enough to fold in diaper bag. The total cost of yarn should be on average just $10.00!! Please note this is also a great charity stitch.

Supplies Needed: Bernat Baby Yarn, 1 pound, G Hook (any baby yarn will do, for a border allow an additional 6 oz or smaller skein)
Time Used: About a Week/2 Weeks
Measures about 25" x 30" This will vary between personal gauges. My personal gauge measures 1" for every three rows.
Stitch- Double Crochet through the back stitch.
Help: What is the back stitch?? The back Stitch is the stitch the furthest away from you, the same used for the ripple or wave pattern. See picture for help.

Final Outcome:: Appears almost layered. Fantastic texture. Great in solids or varigaided. For added spunk- single crochet white or CC border.
